Zhàoqìng (Chinese: 肇庆) is a prefecture-level city of Guangdong province in Southern China and is considered part of the Pearl River Delta region. Zhaoqing is well known for being a regional tourist hub, a medium sized provincial "college town" as well as an up and coming manufacturing center. Residents from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau and other nearby cities are known to visit the city on weekend getaways and excursions.
