Uricani (Romanian pronunciation: [uriˈkanʲ]; Hungarian: Urikány) is a town in the Jiu Valley region of Hunedoara County, in southern Transylvania, Romania. As of 2011[update] it had a population of 8,618. 92.85% Romanians, 4.71% Hungarians, 2.16% Roma.
