Taldykorgan (Kazakh: Талдықорған / Taldıqorğan / تالدىقورعان), formerly known as Taldy-Kurgan (Russian: Талды-Курган, until 1993), is the administrative center of Almaty Province, Kazakhstan. It has a population of 143,407 (2010). Most of the people are Kazakhs.
