Sulaibikhat is a small area north of Kuwait City near Doha, Kuwait. Sulaibikhat has four residential blocks. It host a sporting team with the same name. A British camp was built in Sulaibikhat during the British mandate, and consisted of approximately 200 bungalow-style residential units, contained within a fenced area on the Persian Gulf (locally called Al-Khalig Al-Arabi or the Arabic Gulf). After being deserted by the British at the end of the British mandate in 1961, the camp was occupied by doctors and pharmasists working for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health. That contuinued to be the case until 1980, when the residents were relocated and the camp was raised to the ground.
