Sorochinsk (Russian: Сорочинск) is a town in Orenburg Oblast, Russia, located on the Samara River (Volga's tributary), 170 kilometers (110 mi) northwest of Orenburg. Population: 29,260 (2010 Census preliminary results); 30,136 (2002 Census); 26,721 (1989 Census).
