Shangzhi (Chinese: 尚志市; Hanyu Pinyin: shàngzhì shì) is a county-level city located in the southeast of Heilongjiang province, China. It is 127 kilometres away from the provincial capital Harbin and has an area of approximately 9,000 square kilometres. The town has a population of around 120,000 and the whole county has approximately 600,000 inhabitants.
