Sangole is a city and a municipal council in Solapur district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated near the border of Satara and Solapur districts. Traditionally, in many historic records this area comes under “Mandesh” region. The name is derived from the “Maan” river. This place is famous for Pomegranate production. "Chopadi" is a big producer of pomegranates. This is 28 km from Sangola.
