Salsk (Russian: Сальск) is a town and the administrative center of Salsky District of Rostov Oblast, Russia, located on the Sredny Yegorlyk River (Don's basin), 180 kilometers (110 mi) southeast of Rostov-on-Don. Population: 61,312 (2010 Census preliminary results); 61,775 (2002 Census); 61,088 (1989 Census).
