Parteen (Irish: An Pairtín) is a small village in south-east County Clare and the diocese of Limerick. The village has a large Roman Catholic church, Saint Patrick's, three public houses, a national school and a few other shops. It is located within sight of the Ardnacrusha hydro-electric power station.
