Neem-Ka-Thana is a city and a municipality in Sikar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is one of the six tehsils of the district. On 24 October 1995, a solar eclipse could be seen clearly from this place. It is situated on the Jaipur–Delhi highway.[citation needed] Ganeshwar, the historical village of the Chalcolithic, is situated 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Neem Ka Thana. Ganeshwar is noted for its hot water spring. The hot water of this spring is considered to be sacred and a large number of people visit the place to take bath hoping to get cured of diseases. Ganeshwar has recently yielded the remains of Copper Age culture, datable to 2800 – 2000 B.C. The discovery of more than two thousand copper implements from the site prove that the region was the cradle of early civilization.[citation needed]
