Nandyal or Nandyala is a town in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh, India. Having a local website .It is a major centre of trade, commerce, education and industries in the region and is also important because of its religious significance and rich water resources. Actually the town name was NANDALLURU from that name it was converted in to Nandyal.The town derives its name from Nandi, the vehicle of Shiva, whose temple here draws pilgrims from faraway places. It had a population of 211,787 at the time of the 2011 Census.
