Lunawada is a town and a municipality in Panchmahal district in the state of Gujarat, India. The name Lunawada is derived from the Luneshwar Mahadev temple which is the temple of Lord Shiva. Lunawada is surrounded by water from all directions ( Not an Island! ), Panam river, Vasant Sagar, Kanka Talav, Veri River and Darkoli Talav and two mountains.
