Lichk (Armenian: , also Romanized as Lichk’ and Lichq; formerly Turkish: Gël and Gyol; all names meaning "lake") is a village located south of Lake Sevan in the Gegharkunik province of Armenia. Although the village was founded in 1830, there are ruins of earlier habitation including remains of a medieval town. There are also the ruins of the early Tsaghkavank which sit adjacent to the church of S. Astvatsatsin. Tsaghkavank overlooks the town of Lichk upon a hill, and the portion that remains is a circular cylindrical wall with a very small entry. The church of S. Astvatsatsin is a small basilica with some broken khachkars and gravestones embedded into its walls. There is a 13th century cemetery with numerous khachkars that sits on the same hill as the two churches. Nearby is a cyclopean fort.
