Kitanagoya (Japanese: 北名古屋市, Hepburn: Kitanagoya-shi?, lit. "North Nagoya") }} is a city located in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. As of February 2012, the city had an estimated population of 81,948 and a population density of 4460 persons per km². The total area is 19.37 km². The city was created as a result of merger of two neighboring towns, Shikatsu and Nishiharu on March 20, 2006.
