Crosshaven (Irish: Bun an Tábhairne) is a village in County Cork, Ireland. Origins of the Irish name of Crosshaven include; (Irish: Bun tSabhairnet) - mouth of the river Sabhrann (Irish: Sabhrann, meaning "Lee River"), (Irish: Bun an Táibhairne, meaning "the low-land of the tavern") and (Irish: Bun an Tábhairne, meaning "Ale-House Hollow"). The village is located in a scenic area with views of Currabinny Wood, and Cork Harbour.
