Changji (simplified Chinese: 昌吉; traditional Chinese: 昌吉; pinyin: Chāngjí; Wade–Giles:; Uyghur: سانجى‎, ULY: Sanji) is a county-level city of about 192,000 inhabitants (in 1999), in the Region of Xinjiang of the People's Republic of China.
