Balscadden (Irish: Baile na Scadán, meaning "the town of the Herrings") is a townland in the civil parish of the same name just north of Balbriggan in County Dublin, Ireland, located in the Fingal council area. The townland has a population of under 700 people, and the area is completely rural in character, although close to the expansion of Balbriggan.
