Aroor is a census town in Alappuzha district is a suburb of Kochi in the state of Kerala, India. It is a Sea food related industrial area at the south of Kochi. Though considered a part of Kochi for all practical purposes, Aroor technically belongs to the Alappuzha district. Aroor is a two way entrance to the Cochin city.
