Andreapol (Russian: Андреа́поль) is a town and the administrative center of Andreapolsky District of Tver Oblast, Russia, located in the upper reaches of the Western Dvina River, 550 kilometers (340 mi) west of Moscow, on the Valdai Hills. Population: 8,286 (2010 Census); 9,317 (2002 Census); 9,610 (1989 Census); 12,000 (1968).
