Agryz (Russian: Агрыз; Tatar Cyrillic: Әгерҗе, Latin: Ägerce) is a town and the administrative center of Agryzsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, located on the Izh River (Volga's basin), 304 kilometers (189 mi) east of Kazan. Population: 19,299 (2010 Census preliminary results); 18,620 (2002 Census); 19,732 (1989 Census).
