Fethard (Irish: Fiodh Ard, meaning "high wood") is a village in South Tipperary in Ireland. It is located 16 km (9.9 mi) east of Cashel on the Clashawley River where the R692, R689 and R706 regional roads intersect. It is in the barony of Middle Third, and is also a parish in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly. In 2006, its' population was 1,374.
