Csongrád (Romanian: Ciongrad; Serbian: Чонград/Čongrad, archaically also Црноград/Crnograd) is a town in Csongrád County in southern Hungary. Formerly, the city also had the alternate Slavic name of Černigrad, which, like the Hungarian version, means "Black Castle" or "Black Town".
