Bandar-e Emam Khomeyni (Persian: بندرامام خميني‎, also Romanized as Bandar Emām Khomeynī; also known as Bandar-e Khomeynī, Bandar Khomani, Bandar Khomeini, Bandar Khoumeini, and Imam Khomeyni; formerly, Bandar-e Shahpur, also Romanized as Bandar-e Shāhpūr, Bandar Chahpour, Bandar-e-Shahpour, Bandar Shahpoor, and Bandar Shāhpūr) is a city in and the capital of Bandar-e Emam Khomeyni District of Mahshahr County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 67,078, in 14,681 families.
